It was a warm week mid-spring. I was in Delhi and more soul was trying to jump out of my body and get a little bit of cool fresh air. I figured that it was time for a break. I took my time researching and finally ended up taking a keen interest in Jammu.
I read about the places to see, the brilliant food, the culture and the city in general. I loved what I saw so I packed my bag, forced my family to wake up on time and landed up at the railway station. After a ten-hour journey filled with fun games, beautiful sights and excitement, we ended up in Jammu.
We looked for budget hotels near Jammu railway station as that was the most sensible to do at the time. The best option of all the budget hotels in Jammu was the Mango hotel. It had nice rooms that accommodated my entire family. What’s more, we also had brilliant food at the café.
Jammu is a city of hidden treasure. It was absolutely magnificent and had beautiful sights like the Raghunath temple, the Mubarak Mandi Palace, amazing shopping places and mind-blowingly delicious food. It was a delightful vacation.
My week was spent in amazing weather, awesome company and a brilliant stay. What more could I have asked for? I was completely satisfied.
