I spent my days in the central part of Goa at Mango Goa with the beach in my sight, amazing shacks serving brilliant food and great hospitality. Honestly, even though I was in one of the best hotels in Goa, I had to go exploring because I knew there was so much more to Goa than this. My husband stayed at the hotel for work. Why else do you think he would look for business hotels in Goa?
Envision strolling through a path in Goa with Portuguese houses surrounding you, and chatter in the neighborhood in Konkani and Portuguese sifting through the windows. The entryways of these homes are open, and families are joyfully wishing each other with cakes and embraces. On the off chance that you are pondering this would be a typical day in Goa in 1895, please think again. The old-world appeal of Goa isn't lost, not yet. It lives on in areas a little away from the crowded beaches. In the event that you have seen the greater part of this and need to investigate something new in Goa - find the Old Goa, find Goa past the beaches, the liquor and the trance parties. This is exactly what I did on my visit to this beautiful city. This particular trip opened my eyes to the real Goa… a Goa beyond recognition but equally or maybe more peaceful and stunning that anything you would expect.
