I have always had a thing to travel by train. Flights definitely save time. But if there is the time in hand, I would love to spend it by looking at the greens and the beautiful landscapes that pass by from the windows of the train. This was the plan of action when I was going on a business trip to Raipur. The journey in the train was fine, until I got the news after a few stations, that the train will be running late by almost 5 hours.
My brains had gone for a toss. Now two things were going in circles in my head. One was, that I was worried about the delay of work upon me not reaching on time. The second one was the accommodation booked for me by my office. For, after this really long journey, I did not want another turn-off. After I finally reached, I found out that I was supposed to stay in one of the hotels in Raipur near the railway station.
This definitely made gave me a little relief as I wasn’t in much mood to travel more. All I could think of was a decent bed, in a decent room. But to my surprise, my hotel, “i-stay hotel” was way ahead of my expectations. It wasn’t only decent, but it was great.
It had all that I needed. The amenities were truly good, the staff was friendly enough and the food was brilliant. After all the delay hassles of the train I came by, this hotel really wound up my day in a pretty decent way and clearly gets a thumbs up from me for a one of the best business hotels in Raipur.
